The video art "Hilo" was born from the emotional experience at the time of making two pieces of textile art called "Routes to me" and "La Libertad".

"Thread" is a personal approach to the relationship I have with textile fibers, which I conceive as metaphors to talk about the body, detachment, and self-exploration. They are blood vessels that connect me to my origins, especially my mother, who has lived in New Jersey for more than fifteen years. It is talking about time, about the body that is changing; it is leaving childhood, it is cutting the umbilical cord.
